Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within 2 may not have received tons of hype and attention like Bethesda’s Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus but it’s certainly shaping up to be something special. A launch trailer has been released for the third person action horror title which sees Sebastian Castellanos fighting all manner of horrors in order to save his daughter Lily.

Taking place years after the first game, Sebastian learns that his  daughter has actually survived and must re-enter the STEM to save her. Plenty of things are trying to stop him though like towering beasts, a monster with an old fashioned camera for a head, a terrifying woman who looks straight out of Guillermo del Toro’s Mama and much more.

Hopefully the controls and overall shooting hold up better than the previous game. Visually at least The Evil Within 2 looks pretty good and we can’t wait to see how its story plays out. It launches on October 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
