Pyro had quite the awesome life by being a part of the Brotherhood of evil, Freedom Force and the X force, this is why most people wonder who does he side with, but for the most part he is neutral. Pyro can manipulate the fire provided that he has a source nearby. Of course over the years, his powers extended and evolved to creating a flame to grow in size and intensity and to take any form that he desired, even that of a living creature.
