A new patch is available for genDESIGN’s The Last Guardian and though the update history on PS4 states the presence of “various other improvements and fixes”, the 167 MB patch does make some changes to a few aspects.

Some users were reporting improved camera dead zone and a better frame rate at some points. Users on Reddit also noted that patch 1.3 removed unnecessary button prompts as well, such as when you go to pick up a barrel. However, the same user then noted that prompts still continued to show up in some situations so it may not be completely fixed.

More information about patch 1.3 can be viewed courtesy of users on NeoGAF but for now, let us know if you see any differences in The Last Guardian. You can also comment below with your thoughts on the game and whether it’s been worth the long wait. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.
