With a myriad of announcements at Sony’s PlayStation Experience keynote, it was surprising to hear the publisher announce that The Last Guardian would be heading to PlayStation VR. You can expect a free demo for the game to also release on December 12th for the PlayStation Store in case you’re on the fence about it.

That’s not all though. WipeOut Omega Collection will also be receiving a VR update in early 2018 and will see all the game’s tracks and modes playable in VR. New ships, interiors and much more will also be added for that VR immersion.

The announcements aren’t all that surprising to be honest – Sony announced that PlayStation VR had already sold over 2 million units worldwide since releasing last year. It’s since had over 150 titles and will receive even more games down the line. Whether any more third party developers will hop on the bandwagon remains to be seen but it’s good to see Sony supporting the device strongly.
