The Last of Us 2 and 3 – Website Domains Registered by Sony

Naughty Dog and Sony are already preparing to develop sequels for the yet-to-be-released eagerly anticipated title – The Last of Us.

Domain registrations for The Last of Us 2 and The Last of Us 3 have been discovered via Superannuation on Kotaku.

It’s not a rare thing for big companies to register domains beforehand because they could do something with it in the future. Meanwhile, this doesn’t 100% confirm that The Last of Us sequels are already in development. However, with the same token it wouldn’t really be a surprise that Naughty Dog is already in some sort of development stage or pre-production for The Last of Us 2, which would obviously be released on PlayStation 4.

Last of Us (8)

Naughty Dog already has plenty of franchises under their belt such as Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and Uncharted, it’s safe to say that The Last of Us will establish itself as a brand new franchise over the course of PlayStation 4 life-span.

The Last of Us will be coming out exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on June 14th 2013, which is right after the E3 madness. The Last of Us is almost here, let us know how excited you are to play this eagerly-anticipated title from Naughty Dog on June 14th.
