Not challenged enough? Naughty Dog's got you covered.

Previews have been going around for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. While we liked the experience, others have expressed concerns with some aspects of the game, namely the melee prompts and Listen Mode, the latter which makes the game somewhat simple since it reveals enemy outlines a la Batman: Arkham City.

Don’t fault Naughty Dog for not wanting you to feel challenged though. You’ll be able to toggle options in the Settings menu for disabling auto aiming, removing Listen Mode and disabling the button prompts in melee combat. You can even adjust the level of violence, whether strategic tips and tutorial tips pop up, and difficulty in the game for a more hardcore experience.

In terms of difficulty, of course, not in the amount of blood you’ll find yourself awash in (which will anyway be a lot).

The Last of Us is set to release exclusively for PlayStation 3 on June 14th worldwide.
