Recently, Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer answered questions from users on NeoGAF concerning the studio’s upcoming action adventure title The Last of Us. One user in particular asked if there were any plans to release the game on PlayStation 4.

Meyer responded, “Not at this time. We’re focused on shipping for PS3 – thinking about how to bring this over to the PS4 would distract us right now. IF that’s something we can and choose to do, I suspect it would happen once we release the game.”

At the moment, it seems that Naughty Dog isn’t ruling out the possibility of the game arriving on PlayStation 4 at some point. However, this will only be after the PS3 version is released. So at least for now, all efforts and attentions are on the game’s initial release for PS3.

As of now, The Last of Us is scheduled to release on June 14th and is published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
