The Last of Us Part 2 Director Teases Action Sequence With A Motion Capture Image

Ninja kicks and zombies, what more could one want?

It may be a while yet before we get to play The Last of Us Part II, or even before we get more substantial information on it, what with Naughty Dog focusing almost completely on the upcoming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy right now, but we’ll sink our claws into every last morsel we get until that moment. And a morsel is exactly what we’ve got.

Neil Druckmann, who co-directed the first game and is also directing The Last of Us 2, recently took to Twitter to post a rather interesting image. It shows stuntwoman Jessie Graff in a motion capture suit in a very action-y pose, in the middle of a kick-jump. This also, of course, hints at some rather flashy action in the game. We also don’t know yet who she’s performing the stunts for- Ellie? Possibly, but we don’t know of any other female characters in the game so far, so your guess is as good as ours.

The Last of Us: Part 2 does not yet have a specified release date, but we expect to hear more from Naughty Dog about the game later on in the year- possibly at PSX. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
