The Last of Us Remastered

The Last of Us is an incredible game, that already looks pretty damn good. It is also a game that relies on its atmosphere, created visually, to draw up a picture of a tense world, and sell its story. All of which is to say, it is never a game that can look too good- if there’s a visual enhancement that it can benefit from, it should incorporate it.

Which is why the news that The Last of Us Remastered will be updated for PS4 Pro support is so exciting– especially since that PS4 Pro support includes support for HDR (which is, by far, the more exciting of the two new visual technologies that Sony were showing off yesterday). Especially given how great The Last of Us already looked, and how talented Naughty Dog are, I can’t wait to see what The Last of Us would look like with the benefit of 4K and especially HDR.

The Last of Us is available now on PS3 and PS4.
