NIS America and Falcom have announced The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, an English localization (with English and Japanese audio) for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki. It’s coming to PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2024 for the West. Check out the latest trailer below.

Set in the Calvard Republic after The Great Twilight in Erebonia, Trails through Daybreak is about Van Arkride, a Spriggan who takes on various tasks. He’s approached one day by Agnès Claudel, who seeks to recover her great-grandfather’s stolen Orbment and suspiciously avoids consulting the Bracer Guild.

In addition to running on Falcom’s new engine, Trails through Daybreak features a revamped combat system for switching seamlessly between real-time and turn-based combat. You can also make different decisions and align with Law, Chaos or somewhere in between, affecting your allies, dialogue options and jobs.

In addition to the Standard Edition, the Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order via the NIS America Online Store. It includes the base game, a mini art book, digital OST, a hardcover art book, a business card case, a Collector’s Box with an “Oct-Genesis” outer sleeve” and much more. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more updates on the title.
