The Legend of Heroes Trails through Daybreak

NIS America has dropped a new trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, the English version of The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki, announcing its launch date. It’s out on July 5th for PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check it out below.

Set after the events of Trails of Cold Steel 4 and Trails into Reverie, the title takes place in Calvard Republic’s city of Edith. Players control Van Arkride, a Spriggan who serves as a type of mercenary for hire, as he takes on a request for Agnes Claudel. Her great grandfather’s orbment, Oct-Genesis, has gone missing, and she enlists Van’s help.

Along with the same turn-based combat as previous titles, Trails through Daybreak features a new real-time combat mode, which players can freely switch to during field battles. It also has a Law and Chaos alignment system with your decisions affecting available party members, events, etc. Stay tuned for more details when The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak launches this July.
