The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Final Fantasy 16 Top Famitsu’s Most Wanted Charts Again

Nintendo's upcoming Switch megaton maintains a healthy lead on top of the weekly charts, with Square Enix's RPG following behind in second place.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been consistently topping Famitsu’s weekly charts for the most highly anticipated upcoming games, as decided by votes from its readers, and it has topped the pile once again in the latest charts. It maintains a healthy lead over Final Fantasy 16, which has held on to its spot in second place. Meanwhile, Fire Emblem Engage, which hadn’t yet launched when voting for these charts took place, sits in third place.

Fellow Nintendo first party title Pikmin 4 ranks high in the charts as well, coming in at No. 4, while yet another Final Fantasy title trails behind, with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth slotting in at fifth place. Octopath Traveler 2meanwhile, occupies sixth place.

A trio of upcoming Capcom titles occupies the next three places with the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4, Street Fighter 6, and Pragmata coming in at No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9 respectively.
