The prospect of a Lord of the Rings that sees you playing as Gollum is one that’s turned a fair few heads over the last few years, and after a bit of a long wait, Daedalic Entertainment’s stealth action-adventure title The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will finally be releasing soon to showcase just what that experience will look like. Ahead of its release, Nvidia has also offered a look at what the game will have on offer if you’re planning on playing it on PC.

On PC, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will launch with support for Nvidia DLSS 3 and RTX, and Nvidia has released a new trailer that showcases just what kind of an impact that will have on the game’s visuals. Showing off 4K visuals with ray tracing enabled, the trailer does hint at noticeable improvements in lighting, shadows, reflections, and more. Check it out below to get a glimpse for yourself.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum recently went gold, and is due out on May 25 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development, but doesn’t yet have a release date.
