The Order 1886 GIFS Shows The Game’s Visual Prowess

The visuals of Ready At Dawn's next are simply amazing.

The Order: 1886’s gameplay trailer has been revealed today, and it is a looker (or plagued by black bars, depending on which console you defend most feverishly). Besides showcasing what the gameplay is like – which bears similarities to games like The Last of Us, at least in terms of hand to hand combat – we also got a look at gulf in visuals between the gameplay and cutscenes.

Ready At Dawn aimed to offer no difference in texture and model quality and it shows. The game’s 4X Multisample Anti-aliasing makes every edge look smooth as hell without any fluctuations in the frame rate. Atmospheric lighting and fog, along with highly detailed textures bring ye olde London to life in a spectacular way. Though the game is limited to 1920×800 resolution – hence the bars on the top and bottom of the screen – it’s arguably one of the better looking exclusives. And it hasn’t even been released.

Which is the question now, really. Will The Order: 1886 be out this Autumn on PS4? Stay tuned for more news and updates on the same.
