The Order: 1886 is Ready at Dawn, SCE Santa Monica’s PS4 Exclusive

Finally, we get a look at what the developer has been up to.

The Order: 1886 was officially revealed today at Sony’s E3 press conference, and it seems to be the PS4 exclusive that developers Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica have been working on.
The game takes place in the age of scientific marvels or at least an alternate history version of London which include horses, carriages and the odd airship here and there. We can also see some of the populace in carriages carrying large weaponry as monsters emerge from the fog in the trailer showcased at E3.

Somehow electric shotguns play into this but we’re not entirely sure yet.

Discovered via trademark listings several months ago, The Order: 1886 isn’t anything especially new to us, though it is surprising to see Sony Santa Monica and Ready at Dawn both attached to the project. How do you feel about having the game as a PS4 exclusive? Let us know in the comments below.

Update: Added new screenshots.
