After insiders reported that Ready at Dawn’s PS4 exclusive was delayed into February 2015, studio head Ru Weerasuriya confirmed at a pre-E3 Sony event that The Order: 1886 would indeed be delayed to from Holiday 2014 to early 2015.

As Weerasuriya told Eurogamer, “We have an open discussion with Sony all the time. We said, ‘Look, we can achieve the quality you expect everywhere, but delivering on this is going to take a few more months. It’s not that long. It’s worth it if we can deliver on the promise we made. We’ve known Sony for long enough that there is a very easy conversation that goes on.”

The delay is certainly interesting considering that the only exclusive Sony has for the all-important year-end quarter is DriveClub. E3 seems like the best place to reveal more titles though so we’ll see. Nonetheless, how do you feel about The Order: 1886 being delayed? Let us know in the comments.
