Supermassive Games’ latest horror adventure The Quarry is out now for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. It focuses on nine teenage camp counselors at Hackett’s Quarry looking to party after the end of Summer Camp. Unfortunately, they become prey in a hunt by the locals (and something else entirely). Check out the launch trailer below.

Players control each counselor throughout the story and make choices to aid their survival. Every choice has a consequence, whether immediate or in the future. Help everyone survive or ensure that everyone dies in true horror movie fashion, just to see what happens.

In addition to the Story Mode, there’s Movie Mode which allows for watching the entire game as a movie where everyone lives or dies. The Director’s Chair option lets you set different behaviors for each character, causing them to react to situations in erratic, clumsy, conflicted or flustered ways. Various outcomes await with dozens of different unlockable cards depending on a character’s fate.

The Quarry supports couch co-op but online play, where up to eight players can vote on different choices, will be available by July 8th.
