The Sims 4 Character Creation Tools Detailed

Create admirable Sims...or horrifying abominations.

Have you ever wanted to play as a tattooed version of EA’s Peter Moore only to have him eaten seconds later by an over-sized plant? Thanks to The Sims 4, you now can as EA showed off the character creation tools of the game at Gamescom.

It’s actually quite easy to create your own Sim and the interface is intuitive enough to quickly adjust body types, complexions, weight and so on. You can also choose different personality traits for your Sim which will influence how they behave with others. So if you want your Sim to be insane or a friend to the world or a little bit of both, you can.

That’s not all though. You can also customize your home and create a football stadium – among other things, to reside in. There are a ton of different options for interacting with Sims as well and even if Death comes to claim them, you can bargain for their lives.

The Sims 4 will release on Mac and PC on September 2nd.
