The Astronauts’ The Vanishing of Ethan Carter will be heading to the PlayStation 4 as announced at Gamescom. However, that’s in 2015 – the PC version of the game will be out next month and we’re stoked because we can finally get our hands on this creepy horror mystery. The developer has released a new gameplay trailer peppered with commentary and even drops some details on the bonuses you can obtain when pre-ordering the game.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter sees you taking on the role of detective Paul Prospero as you head to Red Creek Valley in the wake of a letter from Ethan Carter. When you head there, Carter is missing and there’s a gruesome murder that needs solving. The game takes place from a first person view and looks absolutely gorgeous. On release, it will be available through Steam, GOG and the game’s official website which is now live.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter will be out on September 25th for PC.
