The Walking Dead A New Frontier Skipping Previous Gen Consoles

Saves can be transferred over to current gen versions.

If you’re still on the PS3 and Xbox 360, then it might be time for an upgrade (finally). Telltale Games has confirmed in a new blog post that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, the third season in its acclaimed franchise, won’t be releasing next for previous gen consoles. This means both the disc and digital versions.

However, since choices can carry over from Season Two, it’s still possible to import your save. As per a support post, you’ll need to download a patch for the game on Xbox 360 or PS3 which will provide the option of uploading your save. A Telltale account will also be required to make this happen.

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will release on December 20th for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Android and iOS. It will continue the story of Clementine while also introducing a new character Javier and a faction of suspicious survivors known as the New Frontier.
