While CD Projekt RED was originally not going to update its seminal open world RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the PS4 Pro, they finally came around to it when they decided to also update their game for Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One X as well.
That Xbox One X enhancement patch isn’t actually out yet – which makes sense, because after all, neither is the console itself – and CD Projekt RED promises that it will be out by the end of the year. In the meanwhile, however, PlayStation players might be glad to find that the PS4 Pro enhancement patch for the game is going to be available within the next few days.
During CD Projekt Group’s latest financial results conference, CDPR president Adam Kicinski confirmed the release windows for both the patches- without going into any further specifics.
On my part, I can’t wait to see what The Witcher 3, already a hugely gorgeous game, will look like on both, the PS4 Pro, and the Xbox One X.
