GoG Galaxy went live last week, and if you are running the client, it will please you to know that the pre-load for CD Projekt RED’s highly anticipated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now live on it. Other platforms, at the very least Steam and Xbox Live, are expected to have their own pre-loads go live soon.
The download of the pre-load comes in at 22GB (the full game will obviously be far bigger than that- probably more than double the size), and also unlocks the full list of achievements for the game, which… is inconvenient since it can potentially spoil the game for you.
So, I guess the smart thing to do is to download the game, but not look at achievements. Or wait for the pre-load to go live on Steam, instead.
