The Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED’s highly anticipated upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, can now be pre-loaded on the Xox One via Xbox Live, more than a month ahead of its launch. This will let you get the jump on the server stress for when the game inevitably launches, and let you just play the game at midnight, without having to wait for it to finish downloading.

That’s not all, either. To incentivize digital purchases, the digital version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also be available at a 10% discount, at least on Xbox. This discount is extended to the base game, which is just $53.99 on Xbox Live as long as you have a Gold account, and to the game plus expansion pass as well, which are $76.49, also 10% down from their regular asking price.

Whether these discounts will extend to the PlayStation version of the game remains to be seen. As of right now, The Witcher cannot be pre-loaded on to PS4.

Stay tuned.
