CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher franchise grew unexpectedly big- big enough that it is now getting cross media tie ins and promotions. So, for example, Dark Horse Comics are releasing The Witcher: House of Glass today, the first in a series of five comics that serve to add to the Witcher universe and the life of the elusive Geralt of Rivia.
The comic has some hefty talent backing it up; it’s been created by Pail Tobin, with artwork by Joe Querio, and cover design by Dave Johnson. The comic book series promises an exciting side story to the games, although it isn’t clear if the story line here will in any way tie into next year’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the exciting and long awaited conclusion to The Witcher tale.
The Witcher: House of Glass comic book is available at book stores across the US; it can also be downloaded digitally using the Dark Horse iOS and Android apps, as well purchased online on Dark Horse’s website.
