The Witcher Netflix Adaptation Reveals New Cast For Season 2

The hit series continues with new, fresh cast members.

Those into gaming have known about the goodness of The Witcher franchise for some time. While the game adaptations of the novels didn’t get real big until The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2015, it soared since Netflix did their own take on the series, and the game’s spiking in sales is a good indication of that as well. The show was definitely a hit, as Netflix greenlit a second season pretty quick. Now, we’ve got some new casting.

Through their official Twitter account, Netflix released a list of the new cast members for the next season. While none of these are big on the level of Henry Cavill from a name perspective, there’s some solid actors you’ll probably recognize.

Like a lot of the first season, the content being adapted is from the books, which the games are sequels to. None of these characters outside one ever appeared in any video game entry of The Witcher. Still worth checking out if you’re a fan, though.
