After a couple of disappointing months, Xbox Live’s Games with Gold program has its best showing in a while yet in April. Microsoft has confirmed that quite a few fantastic games will be available to subscribers to download next month.
Xbox 360 players can play EA’s seminal Dead Space 2, the sequel to the original survival horror action game that built and improved upon it in about every way possible, next month. They will also get to play the Cars 2 video game, which is a thing, I guess. Both these games will also be available to play for Xbox One owners, thanks to the console’s backward compatibility.
Xbox One owners, meanwhile, get two great games to try out this month- Jonathan Blow’s seminal The Witness, arguably the greatest puzzle game ever made, will be accompanied by Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the last of the old style Assassin’s Creed games before they were rebooted with Origins. Both are great titles—Microsoft did very well this month.
