Jonathan Blow’s long-in development puzzle adventure title The Witness finally has a release date. According to developer Thekla, it will be out on January 26th 2016 for PC and PS4. A new trailer has also been revealed, which you can check out below.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, Blow posted some new information about the game, relating the process of development and how it was originally built to be an 8 to 12 hour game. As it turns out, the finished project became 10 times as big and can allow for 80 to 100 hours. Considering the visuals, mystery and Blow’s unique design philosophy – he created the indie platforming hit Braid after all – The Witness looks to be something very special.
