Square Enix’s Switch port for The World Ends With You: Final Remix finally has a release date…for Japan. The RPG will be available on September 27th for 4,800 Yen plus taxes with a Special Edition that costs 17,000 Yen plus taxes. The World Ends With You originally launched in 2007 for the Nintendo 3DS. It earned a strong audience thanks to its unconventional gameplay, gorgeous aesthetic and strong story-telling (not to mention the jaw-dropping music). The World Ends With You: Final Remix adds new and rearranged tracks, support for touchscreen and Joy-Con controls and HD graphics along with high quality sound.
Even if you’ve played the original, the Switch version brings brand new scenarios that make it worth revisiting. Sadly, North America and Europe still don’t have release date for the port. You can preorder the game on Amazon for $59.99.
