Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call Trailer Confirms Western Release

The 3DS title will be out some time in 2014 for North America and Europe.

After trademark registrations and rumours, Square Enix has finally announced that Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be releasing for the West this year. This was indicated in a new announcement trailer for the same, which you can check out above.

Curtain Call will expand on the original game quite heavily with 21 songs culled from the latest Final Fantasy games and properties, including Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and 60 characters which includes Final Fantasy XIII’s Lightning. There will also be new gameplay modes such as Quest Medleys and Versus for that competitive streak in you.

While Square Enix didn’t specify an exact release date, it wouldn’t be too absurd if a specific date were revealed at E3 2014. It’s already been available in Japan for a while so why not? Will you be picking it up for the Nintendo 3DS? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
