Square Enix has announced that the game will be launching in 2014 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. As of now, no other details are available but it seems we can look forward to a few more answers and maybe some gameplay footage at E3 2013.
Recently revealed in March, Thief is a sequel to the long-standing franchise that originated with Looking Glass and which later found its way through ION Storm. After the somewhat underwhelming Thief III, Square Enix picked up the IP and has since been working on a new iteration of the game.
Originally titled “Thief 4”, Thief the sees the return of Garrett to The City as he makes his way through a new police state regime and plague-infested populace to steal from the rich.
