Thirteen Games To Blow Your Mind Off In 2011

DIABLO III (PC)

The last game we’re including on this list is Diablo III, and I can’t help but feel that I’m cheating. You see, whereas the existence of Diablo III has been confirmed- numerous times- and even its general release schedule has often been hinted at, what with the game being developed by Blizzard, a company even more notorious than Valve for their long development cycles and even longer delays, we really have no indication that this game will actually make it out in 2011.

Add to that the fact that Blizzard has been predictably reluctant to talk about this game. The fact that we have little to no media. The fact that there are bound to be multiple delays. Is there really any positive indication that we can look to this game in 2011?

The fact is, this is Blizzard we’re talking about. Name one bad game they’ve made.

The fact is, the game looks great, from whatever little we’ve seen of it so far. There’s the fact that it comes from a series of high pedigree, from a developer of high pedigree, and it comes at a time when the original vision of the series can be expanded meaningfully.

Diablo III may or may not release in 2011. But if it does- and we think it will- then mark our words, it’ll be one of the biggest titles of all time. And it’ll be one that’ll be as talked about a decade from now as Diablo II is talked about right now.

And that wraps our list up! We hope you enjoyed the list, and we hoped you enjoyed Gamingbolt.com this year! Thanks for being with us all throughout the year. We look forward to the new year, where together, we’ll strive to make Gamingbolt the biggest and best gaming website ever!
