Throne and Liberty

Throne and Liberty, NCSoft’s free-to-play MMORPG, finally has a global release date, launching on September 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Published by Amazon Games, it will be available in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South America. Check out the latest video, which explains the title in more detail.

Originally announced as a sequel to Lineage in 2011, Throne and Liberty underwent numerous changes and delays before launching in November 2023 for PC in South Korea. Set in Solisium, the title offers PvE and PvP with guilds, dynamic weather cycles (which change the terrain and even affect your weapons) and more. Like Wuthering Waves, players can defeat bosses and shapeshift into them during combat.

Perhaps the most notable calling card is Castle Siege, where thousands of players can participate. For those looking to try out the experience before launch, an open beta for all regions is set for July 18th to 23. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
