Timesplitters 4
Crytek may own the license, but it gave its blessing to a fan project, Timesplitters Rewind, which looks to bring back the series in a new title. The game is now on Steam Greenlight and fans can leave their feedback and vote for the game to be released on to the official Steam Store for retail.

While it will be arriving on PC, TimeSplitters Rewind will also be heading to the PlayStation 4 (although a Wii U release is most definitely not happening). This is interesting, considering that Rewind was to be free on PC, with the success of the game to be used to decide on a console release.

The developers are targeting a pre-alpha phase for December which will allow players to test out the feel of the characters and levels. Stay tuned for more details on TimeSplitters Rewind, and let us know below what you’d like to see most in the final release.
