Taking Down Titans

Getting on a Titan in the original Titanfall was a lot of fun. Jump onto a Titan’s backside, rip open its core protection and start shooting until you down the enemy Titan or until they enemy finds a way to knock you off. Titanfall 2, however, plays by a new set of rules. You still get to jump on the Titan’s backside, but things change up a lot. You proceed to tear out the Titan’s battery and jump off. The Titan is still functional at that point. Sounds kind of weird to tear out a battery and the toy still operates, but that leaves a big hole in the Titan’s back. Now you or someone else can jump onto the Titan and lodge a grenade into its battery hole. That still won’t kill the Titan, but throwing several grenades in should do the trick. It makes Titan’s harder to kill and immerses the player in a totally new way.
