Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 will be receiving its first major free update on November 30th with Angel City’s Most Wanted. This update will be available on November 30th for all players.

There is an exception though. The update will include the Angel City map from Titanfall remade for Titanfall 2. That will be available three days earlier for those who pre-ordered while regular players get it on December 3rd.

All the other features coming by November end include the Wingman Elite Pistol, an in-game store, a stats screen, an FAQ menu and Titan kits. The Titan kits will add new abilities, namely Ion’s Refraction Lens which splits the Splitter Rifle’s beam five ways; Scorch’s Scorched Earth which ignites the ground with thermite; Northstar’s Threat Optics which highlights enemies upon zooming in; and so on.

Respawn further clarified some of these changes, noting that with its in-game store, “We will have no in-game currency exchange. No locked loot boxes, crafting shards or pay-to-win weaponry. No RNG. If you see something you like, you buy it and that’s it.

“These in no way effect stats and are purely cosmetic. We will have two Prime Titans available at launch. They have new chassis and assassinations but function the exact same way as their original counterparts.”

“More drops that will differ in size and scope” have been promised with more free maps, modes and weapons to come in 2017. What are your thoughts on the first free update? Let us know below.
