Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 is currently in an interesting place for PC users. After releasing system specifications, Respawn revealed that the PC version’s frame rate would be capped at 144 FPS. Is it possible that uncapped frame rates occur in the future?

During a recent Q&A session on the forums, producer Drew McCoy stated, “We can investigate slightly higher framerates, but in initial testing we ran in to some issues with incredibly high framerates.”

McCoy also confirmed that cross-platform play between console and PC players would not be happening. “As much as I personally think cross-platform play would be awesome, it unfortunately will not be in the game at this time.”

Titanfall 2 is out October 28th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. What are your thoughts on it thus far, especially with news of Attrition returning? Let us know in the comments.
