Titanfall 2 (4)

Respawn Entertainment’s open technical test for Titanfall 2’s multiplayer will begin this weekend for Xbox One and PS4 players. With two modes in Bounty Hunt and Pilots vs. Pilots, two maps (Boomtown and Homestead) planned, one has to wonder how much space this is all going to take.

Early access keys received by PlayStation Lifestyle indicate that the technical test client will require 12.5 GB. It’s possible that an update is added later on to accommodate the second weekend of testing (August 26th to 28th) where Amped Hardpoint and the Forward Base Kodai map will be added.

Titanfall 2 makes a number of changes to the Titanfall formula but features numerous familiar elements like rodeoing Titans, wall running, anti-Titan weapons and the lore that players know and probably love. It will be out on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Will you take part in the open technical test for multiplayer? Let us know in the comments.
