Titanfall 2 (1)

Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer for Titanfall 2 which showcases one of the six new Titans in action. Named Ronin, this Titan appears to be nimble like the Stryder Titan, possessing a phase dash ability of sorts but it’s armed with significantly different abilities.

Along with a shotgun-like weapon called Leadwall, the Ronin uses a special blade as its weapon. This blade can be used to block shots, melee enemies to death and even fire electric slashes at enemies. Will you have all three abilities active at once? That remains to be confirmed.

At this point, Respawn seems to have created specialized Titans with their own signature weapons and abilities to use. Whether we’ll have some freedom in customizing their load-outs and abilities is still unconfirmed. Nonetheless, the abilities we have seen look pretty awesome so far.

Titanfall 2 is out on October 28th for Xbox One, PC and PS4. What are your thoughts on the Ronin Titan? Let us know below.
