Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 will be receiving free post-launch DLC in the form of maps and modes. It was already confirmed that Angel City, a classic map from the original Titanfall, would be making its return and the first screenshot of the same can be seen above. Pre-ordering Titanfall 2 will grant players access to the map three days before its general release.

Angel City is generally considered one of the best maps in the first game with narrow streets to navigate for Titans, an open space with plenty of rooftops for pilots and plenty of packed buildings for wall-running. The central “hub” of sorts can be seen above and Respawn has faithfully recreated everything – from the ruined car to the “Wanted” posters – in perfect detail.

Titanfall 2 will be out on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It recently witnessed a pre-alpha tech test on consoles which met with a less-than-positive reception from the community due to the sheer number of changes in the mechanics. What are your thoughts on the current state of the game and will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments below.
