Tom Clancy’s The Division Receives First (Real) Gameplay Trailer, Showcases Team Play

Of all times, NOW they make us want the game.

Tom Clancy’s The Division was delayed into 2015 and Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment chose the wrong time to really make us want to play the game. At Microsoft’s E3 media briefing, The Division’s first real gameplay footage was showcased and finally revealed the massively multiplayer online elements, team-based play and action that we can expect. Check it out above.

The Division comes off as far more action-oriented in the above trailer with your team struggling to make their way back to the base of operations without being killed. A stealth approach can be pursued but that eventually goes wrong and you’re forced to combat waves of enemies. These range from melee-based fighters to heavy gunners and you’ll need to work together to make it past most enemies. And of course it has bullet-time. Why wouldn’t it?

Massive Entertainment also confirmed that all new content would be hitting the Xbox One first. Will that inspire you to pick up the Xbox One version?

Tom Clancy’s The Division will be releasing for Xbox One, PS4 and PC next year. What are your thoughts on the footage? Let us know below.

Update: Added Screenshots.
