That asari are the best alien race is not just our opinion- that’s a fact. Mass Effect says so itself. They’re the wisest, most influential species in the entire galaxy. In the current batch of space-faring species in Mass Effect, the asari were the first ones to take to the skies and establish an interstellar society. They were the first ones to discover and then to settle the Citadel. They were instrumental in the formation of the Council. They’re also superpowered biotic badasses. The asari are essentially the leaders of the intergalactic society, and the fact that we’ve been treated to incredible asari characters like Liara, Samara, Benezia, and more only makes them that much more enigmatic.
