The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was positioned at launch as an open world title, revamping the core gameplay of the series in several new ways. However, the sheer brilliance of its sandbox continues to impress, from undiscovered secrets, points of interest and phenomenon to new and exciting ways to play (like shield flipping for added movement). The environmental interactions are similarly incredible – fires spread out, creating winds that can be used for updrafts to glide on. Metal armor and weapons can cause Link to be struck by lightning in a storm. You can even fish by detonating bombs in water bodies.
