Eric Barone’s beloved farming title is more than just a love letter to Harvest Moon. It’s a compelling RPG on its own, teeming with things to do as you grow your own farm, fish, hunt or just attend events, learning more about the world and its NPCs along the way (while possibly forging relationships with them). The sheer variety of things to do, not to mention random events that can occur, along with all the little secrets, events and activities over years and years of in-game time – set to some truly uplifting music – make Stardew Valley worth the time investment.
