#1. MARVEL’S SPIDER-MAN

One of the factors that contributed to Arkham Knight’s poor timing was a game that would launch a little over three years later. Insomniac and Sony joined forces again to bring Marvel’s signature hero to life in a way never seen before in Spider-Man for PS4. The truly incredible thing about this game is how authentic it all feels – from the visuals to the music to the characters, the writing, the story, to, yes, the web swinging and combat, everything conspired to put you in the boots of the friendly neighborhood webslinger to a degree that had simply not been done before. Spider-Man would go on to become one of Sony’s most successful games of all time, a rousing adventure that was a fitting addition to Sony’s repertoire of high quality first party games. We can’t wait to see where Insomniac goes with the next full entry in the franchise.
