#9. RISK OF RAIN 2
As a 3D third person shooter sequel to a 2D sidescrolling shoot ’em up, Risk of Rain 2 was a risky venture for developer Hopoo Games- but it definitely paid off. This is a game that’s all about massive and sudden escalation. Barely minutes after you begin a run, you’ll be involved in massive firefights against dozens upon dozens of enemies, incessantly firing off your weapon on hordes as you watch them explode. There’s a great amount of weapon variety in here as well, each one of them better than the last, all of which is hugely responsible for Risk of Rain 2’s addictive nature.
