Doom (Nintendo Switch)
Of all the games to arrive on Nintendo Switch, id Software’s DOOM is perhaps the most surprising. Sure, it runs in 30FPS and 720p resolution whether in docked or undocked mode but this is DOOM. The fast, unrelenting action, accentuated by the brutal glory kills and heavy metal soundtrack are all here. All the DLC and updates are also included (aside from SnapMap Editor). Perhaps the biggest caveat is that the physical version will only contain the single player campaign with the multiplayer requiring a separate download. DOOM arrives for the Nintendo Switch on November 10th so if you’ve ever wanted the action-packed campaign in your hands, then this is your ticket.
