Yet another epic encounter, Phalanx requires a bit of work to bring down. If you’re not a fan of riding Agro, then we pity you. She’s essential to this battle as you first shoot the gas bladders on Phalanx’s underside, which will cause him to skim the sand with his wings. Ride up to it, jump on and climb the wing to ultimately strike the dorsals on its back. Phalanx doesn’t like this though and will do a lot to shake you off, including diving into the sand and re-emerging with the bladders healed. It’s one of the lengthier fights in the game but immensely satisfying to finally beat him.
