Metal Gear Survive
The Metal Gear series is one of those franchises that if you were a Konami fan, you couldn’t get away from. Created by the gaming legend; Hideo Kojima, the Metal Gear franchise has gone through a lot of love from its fanbase, but now that Kojima has left the Konami this is the first game, the return – if you will – of the Metal Gear franchise. It almost feels weird seeing a Metal Gear game without Kojima’s name somewhere in the production credits. Metal Gear Survive is a completely different thing from the Metal Gear games we all know and love. Not only is there a constant need of online-connection, but, of course, there are microtransactions, which has grown into quite the buzzword as of late. But that being said, it is exciting to see how this game will do given it is an open-world game and a Metal Gear game after all. The game takes place in an alternate reality full of zombie like-crystalline-monsters that makes the player have to be careful who to fight.
