Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
We were on the bandwagon that loudly wondered why Ubisoft would possibly pair the Rabbids with Mario. However, despite the odd premise and the Rabbids in classic Mario looks, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is looking to be a solid tactical strategy RPG for the Nintendo Switch. Players navigate the overworld normally, solving puzzles and unearthing routes but battle in an XCOM-style stage with cover and special attacks. It’s actually fairly in-depth and almost makes us feel better about that Mario-Rayman crossover that didn’t happen. Almost. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle arrives on August 28th.
