It’s been four years since the launch of the PlayStation 4. Even with the competition, namely the Xbox One X, shooting itself in the foot close to launch, the PS4 has still become one of Sony’s best-selling consoles. Not only that but it’s a destination for great games, some which you won’t find on any other platform. Let’s take a look at the top 30 PS4 games of all time. Note that this list includes both exclusives and multiplatform titles.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
You could hop aboard the hate train for microtransactions and we honestly wouldn’t blame you. However, Monolith Production’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is still a pretty good game with a vast open world to explore. The multitudes of combat options make you feel appropriately unstoppable and the Nemesis system extends to long-time enemies as well as the epic new fortress assaults. It’s not a huge leap over the first game but Shadow of War is still worth playing.
